Here is the firstborn of my two 2013/14 bikes, not far off fully built. Both pretty much identical. This one is Force Equipped and running on FMB Super Muds, it's sibling will be Red/Force on Dugast Rhino's.

I love my girlfiend's sense of humour. I brought it out of the garage - and said to her "well, I won't have any excuses next season now" to which she replied "except it doesn't have a chain".

Looks good - gore sealed shift cables are like a secret weapon for CX.  If you see someone running them, you know they know what they're doing.  Looks like a lot of drop for a CX rig--you might be able to give Ryan Trebon a run for his money.

I could only dream of giving him a run for his money.

In all honesty, the bars need a tiny tweek upwards......

Beauty! And a healthy saddle to bar drop.

Curious...everything I've read says ceramic bearings chip more easily when run offroad. For example, pro riders on Paris-Roubaix don't ride ceramic.

Why did you choose ceramic for a 'cross bike?

Hi Geoff,

In all honesty, it's simply a case of using what I had laying around. Would probably spec steel BB if I'd bought new.

Steve

You had THAT lying around? I want to be your friend... LOL. Beautiful rig, I am jealous of just one. Can't imagine two!

what does it weigh? 10-speeds? nice.

Yes, 10sp, weighs 17.1lbs ready to go. Suspect the twin bike might just dip under 17 as it's got slightly higher spec. That being said it's pretty academic because a) even summer cros races are a quagmire here and b) It's rider is a big strapping lad at 75kgs.
