The race was Cross in the park in Buffalo, ny<br />
Yeah the speed was ridiculously slow and had to run much of the course.<br />
By the third lap had to stop and clear the rear wheel from the mud .<br />
By the fourth my bike was a single speed.<br />
There were over 30 DNF's from broken derailleurs<br />
Wish I brought a second bike . I will next time!

<p>What Chris said. You will be able to run much lower pressures than normal, too, because all of the ground is so soft making pinch flats a reduced likelihood and with said mud, speeds are much slower.</p>
