Tifosi CK1

Hey i've been offered a Tifosi CK1 brand new for £600 obviously the hefty discount makes it a sensible choice to get alot of bike for my money, am i missing out on not having discs, as i could get a boardman CX for similar money with discs, i presume the overall higher quality of the kit makes the ck1 the better choice though. is there anything i should be concerned about on it as  a full build though? and could i put tubs on the wheels or do i need tub specific rims?
