Just had a hutch Bulldog explode off my shimano tubeless wheels. Does this ruin the bead of the tire?

Certainly not going to do it any good. The only blowout I've had like that is a tubless MTB tire where the bead snapped. I'd be leary of using that tire again.

What pressure did you have it at?
80. max is 86 and i had just mounted it with sealant. it sat for a couple minutes no problem then when i picked it up kabooom.
Hi Dewey (big fan!) I had a Kenda Karma 29" mountain bike tire blow off the rim like you described. After my ears stopped ringing, I remounted it and it's worked great for a year and a half. I had to rebuild the wheel, but the tire was fine.

I had it pumped up to about 60 because I thought the bead wasn't seated. It was. Ever since then, I don't go above 40.
Thanks. On a side note i was getting my mtb ready for Chequamegon last weekend and had the rear tire blow off after i put new sealant in it. Same type of thing, max psi was 60 and i stoped at 55. put the tire back on as i wasn't going to spend $ for a new tire for one race. Anyway, didn't check it until before the race and it was way out of whack, at first i thought it was the rim but upon furthur inspection is was the tire. It was seated and held air nicely at 25 for the whole race but was very deformed. Still haven't quit figured it out.
As a side note concerning pressures, the max pressure recommended when using Stan's is 40 psi (http://www.notubes.com/support_detailed.php). Your setup may not use Stan's, but I thought someone might find this info useful.
