Coming down from the Northeast.  Any hints on what course conditions we could expect?  Frozen / dusty / snow.  Obviously the conditions are weather dependent, but if it rains does it get greasy or deep mud, dry out quickly, etc?

What tires would you recommend if you're limited to one wheelset (clincher or tubular option).  As of now it's between a clincher MUD2, Challenge Grifo tubie, Challenge Fango tubie or a mix Grifo FT / Fango RR.

Thanks!

What age group are you racing? Iif you're racing against me, then... What would be the slowest tires you have?

In all seriousness, it's right on the bank of the river but it was the driest course I raced all year. I was pretty happy with my tubeless set up - Kommando in back and Panaracer Crossblaster in front. Now we've had pretty steady rain in the Ohio Valley in the last month, so hard to say. I'd guess go with your last choice.

It's going to be wet and not dry well that time of year. Fangos at least. Or bring the clincher wheelset and bring two sets of tires. Say a PDX and a Fango.
