I'm preparing to begin a new bike build. The frame in my avatar is way too big. I'm going with a 56cm Bianchi Axis with a All City Nature Boy fork. This build will begin life as a single speed. Cranks are 165 RD2 Sugino Messenger with a 39T chainring and 17T Surly cog. Breaks are Dia Comp levers paired with Avid Shorty with Salmon pads. I'll use green 38 duro tires for road work and Rocket Ron 33's off road. Seat is Selle Italia gel flow. Bars are Salsa Cowbell 2's. Pedals are crank brothers candy. All of this stuff was accumulated over the last year. I have not ridden a single speed since I moved on from my Schwinn Stingray. My last decision is weather to have my headset pressed in at the shop, or rig up a press and do it myself...

My racing days are over for now...but if I do enter a race I'll be on my Haanjo Gravel bike.
