Bummer man! those gravel death corners can get you every time! Sunday was tricky too with all of the twisty grass corners. It helped having slightly lower pressure in the front.
Yeah the Grifo's were a very popular tire this weekend! i'd love to try them as well. Seems like one of the best all around tires. Even though they're made in Thailand, i still feel like they're a local company because Don Kellogg (partner or part-owner of challenge?) has his office in Broomfield. I've heard mixed reviews of the Fango (mud-tire), but i'd love to try them myself.

Great results! I only raced Saturday and pulled 17th due to my wash out in that gravel corner of death during lap one...I had the call up and was in top 10 too when it happend %$*#&! I was running Maxxis Raze's and should have known better based on similar lack of handling at Red Rocks, but alas I had to learn the hard way. A pair of Challenge Grifo's are on their way to me as we speak for this Saturday at Chatfield. I had good luck with the Raze's at Interlocken with all the grass so would have been a good setup for day two had I raced...next year!

good weekend for me....6th on day 1, 7th day 2. Best results to date....but it wasn't easy!! that sand running section kicked my butt!
I ran clincher Hutchinson Piranha's with slime tubes for the Res, then Tufo Flexus tubulars for Harlow Platts. how'd you do? which race was your favorite out of the two?

So how did everyone do? The gravel at B-Res (day one) definitely made me rethink my tire setup for the dry & loose!
