Hard to belive, but cross season is only a few short days away!!! The KCOI/Boulevard clinics return to Herman Laird Park in Shawnee beginning on Sept 2. I know, we're breaking from tradition and starting before Labor Day, but with the first race so early, we felt it best to get in as much practice time as we can before pinning up and suffering.

As before, the clinics are free to USAC annual license holders. One day licenses for the clinics are $5....so if you have any friends who are interested in giving the sport a try, for the cost of a beer they can come play...so bring 'em along.

We're going to continue our focus on fundamental skills and will have some guest instructors to provide a variety of viewpoints.

We're looking forward to another successful run and appreciate your support and efforts to mentor new riders and grow our scene.

...see ya' in a couple of weeks.

A few more notes...firstly, this is a fanatastic opportunity for newbies and folks that are accomplished...we owe a lot to Mike B. for these clinics! Spread the word.
Secondly, there is a 'Women's Specific' section at the first clinic....Teresa and others will lead that segment, first timers encouraged.
Thirdly, you'll be able to sign up for Series60CX at a discounted rate during the clinics....at localcycling.com we're about to release a "Special Cyclocross Section" that details all the great local racing opportunites: Boss Cross, DeStad, Series 60 plus others.
what time are these? 6 pm?
