Nationals questions:

Timing: Are there going to be timing chips this year? How is ‘scoring’ done when lapped? Are you pulled from the race once lapped, or do you ride until you cross the line at/after the 45min. mark? I ask as I know I was lapped last year, and ultimately pulled, but I rec’d a ranking, but I think everyone else behind me rec’d a DNF. Not sure of why the break in scoring. And, are the DNF’s ranked by the order they still crossed the line?

If pulled, will there be a “walk o’ shame” area wherein the outed rider receives vilification and ostracism from the bloodthirsty collective aggregate at the perimeter?

Just trying to figure out what to expect. Thanks! Tim

Tim, no chips. Actually you weren't pulled last year (you did get lapped, but you 'finished' on the same lap as the leader). So you're scored (1 lap down)....some folks were 'pulled' after two laps in our race....BUT they figured out a way to include them in the results also.

The list of DNF's and DNS at the end of each categories results last year is not accurate (has duplicates of people who started etc.). There were a few true DNF's due to crashes in the 50-54, but most are really DNS
