The 2010 High Country Cyclocross Series is underway - Wednesdays in September at the Historic North Wilkesboro Speedway, and Wednesdays in October at the Boone Fairgrounds.
We also have Three Peaks USA coming up September 25 at Beech Mountain, and we are hosting a women's cx clinic in Boone Oct 16, featuring coach and pro racer Alison Powers

Anybody ride in the Damascus, VA area? If so any thoughts on the Iron Mtn. trail?

If you can't make the trip to NCCX on Sunday, there will be a special race SUNDAY in Boone at the High Country Cyclocross venue (NOT the killer Hawksnest course) as a fundraiser for the Appalachian State Cycling team to help them pay for their trip to the Collegiate National Championship in Bend, Oregon.

The Sunday course will have a ton of changes from our usual route, as we can take advantage of daylight to make use of a lot more of what the High Country Fairgrounds has to offer.

There will be FOUR races on Sunday
:
11:00 College Women 45min $17
12:00 College Men 60 min $17
12:45 Men 4/Women 3-4 30 min $20
1:30 Men 123/Women12 45 min $20

I really hope you can make it out not only for the second-to-last Thursday night race, but the Sunday event as well.

Thanks, as always, to Boone Bike and Touring, Magic Cycles, and Black Cat Burrito for their generous support.

See you out there,

I'm in for both days this weekend, and might even double up for Single Speed if I can get the bike to work.

Anyone else wondering what the delay is with NCCX getting season standings online?

Won't be racing this weekend but the Charlotte Cross Series races today were well done. Tough course and good crowds for a Tuesday night. That 3/4 race sure was tough.

Who's travelling to Charlotte and/or salisbury this weekend? I intend to do both days.
