Post where you get items for your races.
I posted earlier that Menards usually puts the step-in plastic posts on sale in the spring. I start looking in March. They came up about 3 weeks ago for .99c ea. I picked up 200 last year and another 100 this year. I also picked up some landscaping timbers (4"x8') at Home depot for .99c. I will make some short barriers with them, a 4" high and put 2 together to make an 8". These should slow the racers down but be easy to bunny hop for some.
Some places may be regional, but i believe Menards and probably others will take orders on the web or phone and ship them.
i'll post if either item goes up on sale again.

Road I.D. provides race numbers and a few give aways for the cost of shipping. I've used them for the four years I've put on the Ithaca GP with absolutely no problems.
For course tape, I recently purchased 80 rolls of the seconds from Merco Tape. (online) Very highly recommended.
did some checking, doesnt look like they are. min. number height is 4.75 the total high of road id bib is 5.75, that leaves .5 on the top and bottom for their advertising. looks like its at least 1". my local USAC officials are pretty strict on bib and number size.
Wow - I never even looked into that... Good point though.
