Single Speed Gearing?
Currently I run 39 x 17 only because that is what I have lying around the garage....

I run a 39 x 18. Planned to go with a 42 x 20, but the day before the race the shop still hadn't gotten the 20t cog in so I went with a 39t. In hindsight I'm glad I did because it's a slightly taller gear, but still on the low side. I run the 39 x 18 on every course, every race here in TN
