Upcoming season... NYC or boroughs having a race?

I know about this time last year we were talking about cross practices and potentially a race on Randall's Island.  Anyone have any further info on that?  Seems the calendar is kind of light so far this year.

 

I know some folks are working on a race in Westchester, but not sure of timing or if it will get off the ground this year. 

 

Anything else really close by?

    I'm arriving to work in NYC in a couple of weeks -- and my cross bike a few weeks behind in a container -- but I'll be glad for any dates and info from beginning of October onward. Even practice/training races, whatever. Thanks all. Matt

      Not too sure about races (other than the Staten Island CX race November 13)-- it seems like most of the closest ones are in New Jersey. I would definitely be interested in any trainings that could happen in New York.

      Also, if anybody from NYC is driving to out-of-town races, I would love to carpool.
