hey, how's it going? Are you planning to race cross this season?
  • Ritchey_BreakAway

I'll be doing a few in SoCal. Maybe one in NorCal. I just raced near St. Louis this weekend in a town called Hermann, MO. I'll be in Kansas City in a couple of weeks and do another. What restaurant do you manage?
  • Gary S.

Dustin. We'll have to find some time one day and train for some cross. What's your schedule look like for this week?
  • Gary S.

Hey man...Wednesday is perfect for me if you wanna get back out to Hart Park. Can you bring the pvc gates? What time do you wanna meet? 8am?

As far as going to another race I'd really like to go. I can't make it to SLO this weekend unfortunately but I was thinking about going to Ventura on the 22nd. Would you like to try and get out there as well? Carpool?
  • Gary S.

That's cool, we'll shoot for 8:15-8:30 tomorrow. 8am start in Ventura is alright with me. I don't mind making the morning drive if you don't mind getting up super early.
  • Gary S.

You named your daughter Cadence? That's awesome.
  • Gary S.

Sick ride today. Couple more like that (at night) and we'll own Ventura and future Bakersfield cyclocross local events.
  • Gary S.

Take those brake levers off. That'll force you in the hoods/drops.
  • Gary S.

"Well, I'm really really brave so I am going to take the levers off the handlebars and force myself to only ride in the hoods/drops. Win!"

Here, I fixed that for you.
  • Gary S.

I got the 22nd off for Ventura.
  • Gary S.

Do you mind moving our Tuesday practice to Wednesday? I had a guy wanting me to trade him days off. It'll actually put me at Wednesday and Thursday off (If you wanna get our practice on both days).
  • Gary S.

Actually I'm good Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I don't work till 2 on Tuesday. Woo. I'm excited about the 22nd!
  • Gary S.

Wow, really? What is it and where is it? Can you give me an address??
  • Gary S.

Wow. That looks really nice. Do they mind if I bring my bike in the room? hahaha. How did you manage a hook up on that??
  • Gary S.

Wow, more win. I'm looking forward to 8am start now! We'll need the 2-3 days of practice this week.
  • Gary S.

After Ventura I don't plan on doing much more cross because of work shifting to high gear for Christmas. I do plan on going in January to one or two of those side races. Do you plan on going to anymore??
  • Gary S.

Honestly, I hope Ventura is muddy to no end.
  • Gary S.

Most likely. I can hope too. Any plans for mens 3/4 at 1:15?
  • Gary S.

I'll bring my cowbell for you. Maybe you can snap a few pictures of me riding???
  • Gary S.

Yeah I need a few pics so I can take the mtb picture off the website! You gotta have more cowbell!!!!!
  • Gary S.

LOL cool picture. I'm def on for 8:15ish @ hart park. You in?
  • Gary S.

Indeed. I rode through this weekend and it was definitely leafy/dirty. Hoe and rake engage! Want a doughnut?
  • Gary S.

    Awesome, I'll be there.
  • Gary S.

Where'd you find the info about the Ventura course? Also- good ride today.
  • Gary S.

Sorry to hear about the soreness. We did a lot of skills... Mucho repetition. You'll jump over those barriers for sure on Sunday! We gotta find a doughnut shop when we get there. Maple bar + chocolate crullers for great cyclocross justice.
  • Gary S.

Wonderful. How was the ride this morning?
  • Gary S.

Show up and throw up. You are the man. Nice ride today except for those lame asses who wanted to pre-ride during the end of our race.
  • Gary S.

Thank you. I hope the riding doesn't stop. Hopefully we can arrange for it to continue. It's the only way we'll catch that sandbagger in the cat4 mens.
  • Gary S.

I don't work on Monday and I'm finally starting to feel better. I'll say yes but I'll let you know for sure on Sunday night.
  • Gary S.

Lets design a pink jersey with wings on the back. It'll look awesome. Tuesday/Thursday for riding. Saturday is rumble. Sunday is either LA or Springville. The future's so bright....
  • Davie

It is the last two races of the Scottish series, Dec 11th 12th 2010. There is a ceilidh on the Sat night at the hall in Tobermory. I can help with accommodation, logistics etc for your stay.
  • Gary S.

That link was relevant to my interests. Thanks. I was supposed to give you a link to something but I can't remember. Remind me what that was exactly. Oh and thank you for breakfast again. You didn't have to pay for it! Also I can't believe that girl had baby. She was so thin. I almost said bullshit.
  • Gary S.

That's really sick. You'd see my in 5 more layers, however. What the hell was that guy thinking riding his bike in short sleeves!? That would be you, I swear.
  • Gary S.

  • Gary S.

That video is so bad ass.
  • Gary S.

Quick lap on the race course????
  • Gary S.

  • Gary S.

  • Gary S.

I doubt it would show the small elevation gains or losses. When do you want to go to cal state?
  • Gary S.

That is a heck of a lot of bike. Good price for it too. If you had the money why not?
  • Gary S.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I might pull the trigger this month on something.
