Born in Cordova, Alaska. Raised in Eugene, Oregon. I started racing at the 1997 Mudslinger Classic and raced intermittently through high school. At 17, while living in New York, I started riding observed trials and urban freeriding. After a semester of college in Hawaii I decided to pursue my longtime interest in cycling. I moved home to Eugene and began working at the Center for Appropriate Transport (CAT) as the coordinator of Pedaler's Express, Eugene's only bike messenger service. At the CAT I also taught sewing and bike mechanics to charter school students. After a year of messengering I began working at Paul's Bicycle Way of Life as a mechanic and sales person. During my time at Paul's I began road racing, progressing to Cat. 1 in the summer of 2008 with my results at the the Eugene Celebration Stage Race. This fall I have travelled to Belgium with my savings. I am living in Gent this Winter, racing cyclocross, riding track and learning to be strong like a Belgian.

Hey Quinn, nice write up! Sounds like a good time.

We raced in Eugene a few years ago at the Celebration race in the 4's.

    Cheers!
