Nationals 1980 - Sutton Park, Birmingham.
British National Cross Champ's 24th February 1980 - I was 41st out of 100 starters (as I recall). Note the Cinelli style hairnet 'hat. I was becoming more cautious by this time - but protective headgear still wasn't required under BCCA reg's (pic - Chris Dallison)
