Profile Information

Hometown:
Portland Oregon
About Me:
I'm 28, work full time for a law firm in Portland Oregon. I commute to work on my bike every day, rain or shine (mostly rain out here) Race cross in the fall, MTB Short track in the summer. And generally think about bikes more than is healthy.
Current Bike Collection:
Focus Mares AX-1
Masi Speciale Fixed
Specialized Rockhopper (from 1992!)
Favorite Race:
That's a tough call. The Battle at Barlow has a huge staircase made of railroad ties that is the definition of epic, but somehow amazingly fun. But at the same time the Cross Crusade race at Alpenrose Dairy farm has a fantastic atmosphere.
Dream Bike:
Right now? Focus Mares Team
Favorite thing about cyclocross:
I'd have to say the huge variety of noises. From cowbells and screaming fans, to squealing brakes and that sound deep v carbon wheels make on trainers. I love hearing all of them.
How long have you been racing cyclocross?
1 year
Racing category:
weekend warrior
