- I am 33 years old and have always been in pretty good shape and like to stay active although cycling, of any kind was never really on the menu until I meet a wonderful woman who is an avid cycler and opened my eyes to a whole world I never know was there. I am having more fun on a bicycle now then I did when I was 12. When I first saw cyclocross I knew I wanted to learn more and get involved... so here I am

- I guess the most appealing aspect to me is that one race has many different components, unlike a long road race or marathon, you are always being pushed in a way that is perfect for those of us with a short attention span.
