I competed in, and won my first cyclocross race in 1994, and have loved the sport pretty much ever since. I've been active in the cycling scene in the midwest since 1990 and currently ride for Monkey Wrench Cycles and Salsa Cycles.

Favorite thing about cyclocross:

Flying into a dismount at full-speed and transitioning from riding to a dead run... I love the feeling of that transition.
