I'm a British journalist, living and work in NYC from Sept 2010. I've been a cat 1 road-racer for, on and off, a couple of decades now. I ride a bit of track too, and a fixed around town always. I'm a latecomer to cross but love it most of all.
Current Bike Collection:
For road: Colnago CT1. For road/crits: Pegoretti (Al). For cross: Independent Fabrication Ti. For track: Condor (Al).
Crits and cross -- I like the fast and furious stuff, even though I'm more rouleur than sprinter.
That would be greedy
Favorite thing about cyclocross:
It's highly competitive but also the most social and friendly form of bike-racing I've come across. And you can get a bit sideways without hitting the deck and getting road rash.
How long have you been racing cyclocross?
