Of the last 4 races on the schedule I blew ass and didn't try at one, the next was canceled due to race organizer not being organized, then missed the last two due to lazyness, there are no local races until the 30th.
If I had the $$ I would head to Linclon for the SOBE/No Fear Cross weekend like I did last year or over to St Louis

we were messing around in a park near where we live and decided to have an impromptu cx race chasm and i (b.t.w., i got back up and beat him). i took a tumble while dismounting falling on some concrete loosing a good deal of my skin on my knees.
it's been almost a month and they are just now about healed. i took a minor tumble at a cx clinic a few weeks back and opened on scab up and bled all over myself and was the toast of the clinic, i guess if you bleed enough people think your bad-ass and not clumsy.
