Favorite thing about cyclocross:

It's what road racing used to be when I was young and getting into racing. The comeraderie -- not just with your teammates, but with everyone -- the cultural vibe, learning news skills, cheering on your friends. And the beer. My wife says 'cross is like "road racing goes to Woodstock", and I agree.

How long have you been racing cyclocross?

Since 1982. I sucked at it then, but the fields were so small, it didn't matter.
