About Me:

A dad who is too busy to ride much, let alone race. Cyclocross was always my favorite discipline when I was though. It has the highest pain vs. time spent on the bike ration, except pursuit on the track.

Current Bike Collection:

A bunch of banged up rigs that now easily qualify as "vintage" including a 1997 Scott carbon MTB, a Schwinn Fastback with some modern goodies on it, a 1980 track bike, and a half-built Salsa Chili Con Crosso of the scandium era.

Favorite Race:

The low-key cyclocross series races in Jersey before anyone know how the hell to dismount and remount, and how to design a course. Some were even held in the woods.

Favorite thing about cyclocross:

The mix of technical dirt skills with pack riding is very fun. And training can be "make your own adventure" if you can find bits of singletrack out there.
