Hey, thanks for getting back to me. There is absolutely no hurry. I am not even going to get the bike in my hand from my uncle for a couple weeks. I am just working on getting info on it and restoring it.

Thanks again,

Kyle

Hey Tom,

I saw that you have a Kessels Main Do'r. I am looking to restore my uncle's and I looking for as much info on it in the internet, but there isn't much. My email address is kyleus1@gmail.com and if you could shoot me an email I would love to ask you a few questions about the bike.

Thanks,

Kyle

That's great of you. No hurry, of course. I'm interested in the head tube badge with the gloved or braceleted hand in the oval, the F. Kessels Constructeur decal (mine was silver) on the down tube, and any other distinctive transfers. Just some general pics would also be great, to see what an untouched one looks like. I'm striving for period correct, as far as possible. This would be great help. Sure miss riding my Main D'Or along Skyline and La Honda roads!

Hi Tom,

Saw that you have a Kessel's Main D'Or. Is it original? I'm about to restore one I got 20 years ago and would love to see some photos if you have them, especially of the decals. I want my restoration to be as accurate as possible, but they're hard to find. If possible, please send photos to me at j1847e@yahoo.com Thanks!
