I'm thinking about building up a s/s cx bike from an inexpensive steetl cx frame from Ebay. I just want a bike for commuting, but I might start training to race amatuer level s/s cx. Hopefully, I will be a grad student in English at Cal Poly SLO if things for our for the Fall.
Current Bike Collection:
80's Guerciotti steel road bike with a mix of vintage and modern Campy Record, and a Rock Lobster Steel fork. The brakes are Shimano Sora, the downtube shifters are Campy, and the hubs are Shimano Ultegra laced to vintage Mavic Open Pro Rims
The one I have yet to race.
Rock Lobster Cross Euro single speed steel frame w/ Wound Up Carbon fork, Pauls brakes and s/s drop-outs, Chris King s/s Cross Hubs laced to gray anodized Mavie Open Pro Rims.
Favorite thing about cyclocross:
The mud, fast pace, and the punk rock style.
How long have you been racing cyclocross?
