Awesome, thanks for the update. If it's at all possible, it would be great if he can bundle the spokes into 'heads in' and 'heads out' groups, so I can realign them along their original stress direction, but I understand if that's too much trouble (might prevent broken spokes on my end). Once they're disassembled and ready to roll, let me know and I'll send over the funds.

Nope, that will work!

Sorry it took a while to get back to you, we had a forest fire blow up here today not far from the neighborhood, so things have been a bit hectic.

As for rim prices, I was about to buy a brand new never laced set from a guy on the Paceline forum for $125 shipped. Used spokes are generally not worth much, but as long as you can remove them carefully (and the builder didn't use thread locker) I can probably reuse them, so they do add some value. Anyway, you make the call and send me a price with shipping and we'll go from there.

Thanks,
Adam

Gotcha. I'll have to think it over for a day or so.

Another possibility - I'm really most interested in the rims, and was looking for a set to lace to some King Classics I already have. So, if you're seriously contemplating reusing your hubs on some A23's, I'd be interested in just the rims and spokes. Just an idea, if you want to shoot me a price. Also, I've shipped a number of wheelsets, and the best rate going is definitely the Post Office. Even with $300-$400 insurance, I've sent complete wheel/tire sets across the country for $34 or so.

Anyway, like I said, if you want to reuse the hubs, shoot me a price on the rims/spokes.

Ok, all the requisite questions.  Everything seems pretty new, are the hubs new as well?  The tires - 32mm or 34mm?

I'm really most interested in just the wheels, so if there's any chance you are interested in keeping tires, skewers, cassette - let me know.  If not, I understand completely, but I thought I'd check first.

Thanks,

Adam
