Two weeks between races is toooo long and cold weather sucks!

Argh, it's Thursday which means it is almost the weekend, which means it is almost RACE DAY! I still kinda find it funny that I am slow and my goal is not to be DFL in the B race yet I can't wait for each race to get here. I wish there were more opportunities to race from week to week. The rapid decent into winter like weather is probably not helping. It takes a lot more motivation to get out and ride (let alone get up at 5AM and commute 12 miles in the dark while it is 28 degrees).

At this time of year I find myself more and more jealous of you lucky suckers on the west coast with your low temps of 50 in December and 300 days of sunshine a year. Oh well, at least we don't have forrest fires or earthquakes here in Michigan.

I guess I should get back to work and stop daydreaming about warm sunny weather... and come to a realization that I have about 5 months of cold & short days ahead of me and make the best of it. :)
