A Stacked Field and Mud in the Forecast

When I checked the confirmed riders list this morning for the USGP #1 in Sun Prairie, I saw there were already 90 registered riders for the Cat. 4 race! I've never seen such a huge field in CX before. Also, the forecast calls for some rain tomorrow afternoon, so the Elites should be pretty muddy by 3:00. Since it's already raining a little this afternoon, I would assume the course is going to be a bit greasy still at 8:30 a.m.

I'm going to go pick up my race number this evening and try to catch a glimpse of Vervecken and the others. The Belgians and coming!
