Can not wait to get back to cross, Sunday should be a blast from the past. I am looking forward to see if the boat ramp returns to the course. It may be flat but sand and mud mix well together to bring STICKY stuff in the forks, cranks, etc.. Get to take pictures again, this is going to be fun.

Boss Cross 3 was a mud fest, soooooooo the mid week Pierson Park, Cross out the Old Year, was a tremendous success, and a riot. I really had fun watching the racers, the spectators, and the staff. It was a really fun time and it was cold. I was perusing the internet and I stumbled on a CX promoters dream, a log carrier(stakes), for $69.00, so I bought two, wow, what a great idea I have. Hmm, add it again. Looking forward to Sunday although the weather is suppose to turn to sh*5, hope not. I am ready for it.

Cross rocks again in Parkville, MO. What weather, the night before, sleet, thunderstorms and 1/2 inch of snow, then this morning, 25 degrees and warmed up to 48 degrees. Hardly any wind and beautiful sunshine. The early morning race was difficult but the ground had not begun to fight. Then as the day warmed up and the riders rutted the course it really got sloppy. Good tunes, great fun as always, Jeremy did a great job on the course. Pictures are up on my site. I did add some to this page because who would believe that someriders from Cycle City would take a dunk in the Mighty Muddy Mo! Yes we, crossers are nuts. Looking forward to Pierson Park Wednesday afternoon. Woo Hoo!

Wow, 67 degrees! Got to ride OUTDOORS! Road my 29r, roads are a mess. Came home with my neon lime green shirt, it has a line up the rear and dots all over. Still was such a great time to ride! Wow! I missed it sooooooooo much. Oh well Sunday can not get here soon enough.

Mark is right, we have got it together. Chris is sunning in Florida, which he reminds me is 70+ in Key West, hope they have a great time with their extended family. We are preparing for next year already, Riverside will return, Leavenworth High School will take a breather, and University of St. Mary will return with a better spiral. Fat Tire Duathalons also for the off road persons. See you all Sunday, nice 1 inch snowfall last night, white Christmas, then melting and a slushy, muddy BOSS CROSS 3 Wooo HOOOOOOO! Pictures at 6PM Sunday???????

Yes, we almost have a Belgian style 'Chrismas Week' going on! I published a story about the upcoming events on localcycling.com this a.m.
What a cool scene we've got going on: DeStad for the early season, Boss Cross all through, and Series60CX to bookend. Bill Marshall is doing a min-camp this week. Teresa and I will be looking for some folks to join us tomorrow a.m. for a little 'tune-up' at the Hocker super secret junior high course. AND I'm working on a bang up season finish for the Grote Prijs.
It's been a great season so far, and there's so much more!
