nah, I'll eat with goober when she gets up. It's our thing. We eat and watch the news. Let's Park at the start/finish this time so we don't have to cart the tools as far. deal?
yeah man...and if you think about it, bring a hoe and rake. The soft straight section in the wooded area now has two huge bumps in it...I was like super man for a bit!
I'm not really planning on it. I think I'd rather just be an annoying crowd member that is far to loud and possibly face painted. I'm going for the MOSHER jersey for the rest of the day
Yeah, me too. I miss the mud. Ahh good old North Carolina. Sadly, I doubt it with it being a grassy real park with families and all, but one can always hope
Same for me. Gotta see how work goes, and then we'll prolly head back to NC to visit my folks at some point. I will say though that if their is an open 'cross course, I WANT TO BE THERE, MOSHING IT UP IN THE MUD!!!
yeah, though I went out there on Thurs and they had some earth movers working on part of the grass, but the dirt section is still great for cornering and barriers
Well, if the MGM Grand just thought I was funny, but still let me, when I took mine in the room in Vegas (yes, through the entire casino too), I think that a place in Ventura will be cool with it.....And to how I got this room, let's just say it's part of the don't ask, don't tell policy. Just kidding. I'll explain later
We'll let's say I've got a lottle hook up from the town of Weaverville, NC. Long story and I'll explain later, but yeah it's that Crown Plaza in Ventura. It's the rather large one that is actually on the beach right off the 101... I think. You know me, not from here and all. Looks like it's about a 15-20 min drive up to the race
Gnaaaaarrrrrly! Ok so we'll start with Tue. @8:15 and go from there. Oh yeah, I got a hotel room in Ventura for Sat night. I'll prolly go down early on Sat to get the room ready to go and for a pre-ride, but you're more than welcome to stay there that night if you want to drive down on Sat night.
I am 99.999999% sure I'm going, but I might go down early for pre-ride and to get a hotel room. Not quite sure on that part yet, but I be there...I think. So, the hoods and I are now good friends. Still have the top levers on for scary stuff, but the hoods and I made it up the run-up yesterday, so we were happy.
Well, I'm not that brave quite yet, but I am going to take myself back out to the park tomorrow and force myself to only ride in the hoods/drops. Win, lose, or fall!
