Already started looking at components. Can't wait to get started on the build!
Three of those bikes always make it out to race day. I haven't raced cross on the Humber for a few years. If you watch some Blinkey junkyard 'cross videos and see a guy in a tweed suit on an English 3speed, you'll know who I am!
i'll see if i have a short video of riders entering the sandpit/beach...one guy rides through a bunch of it while most hoisted the bike...you can hear his grinding gears!
the pic shown (if it works) is after the long beach part and up the steps and then another 50 feet or so of sand up to the asphalt...
Holy Crap! I just received issue 10 in the mail today are you freaking kidding me? It is AWESOME! The new layout is absolutely wonderful and I noticed that there are more ads BUT they are pertinent to Cyclocross… bravo. See you at Starcrossed!
No sweat. I have a stock redline cro-mo (or whatever alloy) fork. I just set it up with a steer tube cable stop high straddle cable and way toed in pads. This worked fine when dry but wet weather is a different story my next thing I going to try per the issue 8 article is shorter road style pads. But I'm in no big rush I'm waiting for the shorty ultimate’s, then I'll really worry about set up. Hey! also the tubular wheel test/buyers guide in 8 was well put together , not just specs, but real world insight. I would have never known that $220 could get me a complete wheelset! Thanks again...
Andrew, fork chatter article was well done and timely! I was on that forum thread with the person who was putting motor oil on their rims! One lingering question I had was about rider weight. I would assume that the heavier the rider the worse the chatter, what are your thoughts? Thanks and I can’t say enough how awesome the site, forum and especially the print mag is.
I think I am leaving this message to the right person. Have you CXmag folks ever thought of getting a rep in with the Spokesmen podcast? Just a suggestion. Or atleast maybe get an interview in with the Fredcast and spread the love.
Wyoming was fantastic. Had a really great time, it is a whole different world overthere! Went Mtb'ing a few times and fished A LOT! My Nephew landed a 26 inch german brown trout!!! Biggest freshwater fish he had ever caught.
Not really!! I am going to be in western wyoming mtbing and fly fishing, then the tetons and ending in yellowstone...total cx withdraw!!! Hey have you found a bike yet? You need a 56?
Good luck in seattle this weekend...I however will be out of town, kind of a bummer because this is only one of a few times that I'm missing Starcrossed...URG!!! I'll be rooting for you and Jonathan Page!!!! HUP HUP HUP!!!

World Champs in Louisville? I'm totally still in.
I'm going to try and do some minimal coverage of other regional stuff as well.

Thx for adding me.
Hope this helps,
