Current Bike Collection:
I have 13 bikes hanging up in my basement bikeshop, between my husband and I. The following bikes are mine.

Road - Fuji SL Supreme
MTB - Voodoo 29'er
CX - bottom of the line Redline
Commuter beater - old 90's Trek MTB bike.
Fixed gear - steel Motobecane from the 70's.

Coming soon - a BMX bike.
Favorite Race:
Gun Club CX, a local race here in Cincinnati. It's a nasty, hilly course and I look forward to this race every year.
Dream Bike:
A rad steel CX bike with wheels that aren't carbon.
Favorite thing about cyclocross:
Running the sand pit and passing bitches who don't run.
Hopping on and off my bike.
Mud.
A heartrate of 180 for 30 solid minutes.
Mud.
Hand ups, preferable non-alcoholic.
How long have you been racing cyclocross?
Coming up on my 3rd season.

I could not handle the heat with all that eastern humidity -- I suffered through three summers in Atlanta during my early college years and thought I would die.

 

We've had an uncharacteristically cool summer here, with only a handful of days above 80 degrees. At my last short-track race it got up into the 60's and I needed a light jacket on the ride home. We've been joking about lovely fall days in July. Crazy.
