Does anyone know anything about these tubulars in the attached photos?  I bought them several years ago at a bike swap and forgot I had them until recently.  They measure ~26mm wide.  The tread looks like it is made for grass or other fast courses.

I am wondering if they are any good and worth gluing on.

I appreciate any help.

Barnums. The magazine had a very good writeup about the history of tires I think two issues ago. Definitely worth consulting.

Do they hold air?

Thank you and yes, they hold air nicely.  They have never been glued.  I just dry mounted them on a pair of rims.  I have that issue with the history of tubular tires.  I will check it out.

Do you know if these were decent tires back in their day?

just posting your photos inline, brokenman.  don't you read our mag? :-) missed vt50 yet again.
