I'll tell you - I hadn't EVER raced until last year. I'm 46 now and hadn't done any riding other than with the kids back and forth from school (4 miles round trip). My brother convinced me to give cross a try and I AM HOOKED. I still don't have the time to train like I should, but it is really a blast! The most fun I've ever had while in so much pain! Enjoy! I can't wait to get started this fall.
