- i've been racing bikes since 7, and now that I'm a master, I guess I have to admit that's a damn long time. I did my first 'cross race in '91 in new england, and have been hooked since in a bad way.

mountain: bridgetsone mb-3, gary fisher procaliber oclv, trek olv stp, fisher 29er, biscayne old school 80's mtb

- 1) simplicity of riding your bike over any surface as fast as possible
2) community

4) bikes!

I'm going to try and do some minimal coverage of other regional stuff as well.
i'll see if i have a short video of riders entering the sandpit/beach...one guy rides through a bunch of it while most hoisted the bike...you can hear his grinding gears!
the pic shown (if it works) is after the long beach part and up the steps and then another 50 feet or so of sand up to the asphalt...
