Anyone have one collecting dust now that the kids are all racing full size frames? My oldest is out growing her kids bike now and she loves cyclocross... wants to race at her Dad's races.

definitely go with a 35c tire - find the widest ones that are still 35 (check the back issues of the Mag for the reviews of clinchers)... that or go tubular... and what tires are you running? there are some that washed out more for me than othe...

acrobatics - meaning no ditches to toss the bike over and then jump across.. stone walls that are 4' tall and all that... that 5A13 has been in there for ages IIRC... basically to prevent stuff being any bigger than the horse jump at Sterling... ...

i'd go with the cxp33s with 32 2.0 straight gauge spokes... esp if you are going to be doing cross on them... i'm sure the other prebuilts would be fine, but as a 210# guy right now fwif

It is best to first meet the people on the team before joining up... our club is more or less HUP-style in that you do need to meet a few of the guys or at least get a good rec from at least one of the members. That said, maybe race another year ...
