Peter- I think I'm just going to order a new Specialized Crux from the shop I work at. With my discount I will be way below the $1000 mark. Of course the components will be junk. But if need be I"ll change them out. thanks again for the offers. Russ
Peter- thanks for the offer but, adding crankset and seatpost. will bring me well above my budget. I can buy new Ridley for $1100 or new Colnago for $1300. I know the components you have on your bike are far better. But Hell I'm OLD OLD road and mountain bike racer. Maybe only get one or two CX racers before have a heart attack. So I don't need the best of components. But I will sleep on it. thanks, Russ
