What's a good, stiff fork crown mounted cable stop?
I'm riding an older frame with a 1" steel fork steerer and want to avoid the front end brake judder and still use cantis. I've used the Tektro fork crown mounted cable stop, and it works-a-treat, but it's rather flexible and I nearly always have to run several spacers so it will clear the bottom of the headset. It just seems to be a class C solution to the problem. Does anyone make a nice, stiff crown mounted hanger that will clear the headset w/o spacers? An adjusting barrel would be just bonus.
