chain tensioner?
I decided to go on a quest for a new one. Heard good things about Soulcrafts'....any other advice?
for now i'm goin' to try a chain/bash guard, but personally don't want the extra weight (but then if i get a mechanical each race, it doesn't matter how light my bike is!)

Do you have the Singulator in pull down or push up mode? I've no direct experience but I hear that push up (sometimes reinforced with a zip tie) often helps. Since I've never really used a tensioner, I'm not much help in recommending any other one.

hi there. the rennen design tensioner is cheaper than the soulcraft but just confirm it fits your bike. (they have advertised in the mag, btw). it's quite similar (no spring which is good) but doesn't have the quick release. it has a nice big wide roller and also protects your hanger. they have very, very nice cassette spacers and cogs too, btw.
the paul tensioner and rohloff have springs, but work quite well and are usefull if you change cogs often. the paul has a better pivot point, in our opinion.

thx....i know I have the issue....that's where I read about the tensioners....
also great coverage about the wcsscx ....i'll be headed there this Friday.... instead of that lactate threshold training & running...should be practicing teq tolerance....but that's ok....it will help me earn the best crash award... -
