i have a couple of campy questions i dont think have been answered yet. i am going to use chorus ut  11 spd standard crankset, but i cant decide if i want to go 10 or 11 speed. i know 11 is not good for cross but since im just starting out and might not like it, i think having 11 speed to use everday would be great. im not opposed to older record 10 either. the main dilemma is with the chainrings obviously. if i go 11spd i guess the only option there is 48t outer ta nerius chainring and run a 12-27 cassette. if i choose 10 spd then i could get either a solano or a vento 46t outer, but arent ventos for track?
and im assuming that 10spd rings will fit on 11spd cranks since ta says nerius rings will covert 10spd to 11spd, anyone know for sure? thanks in advance.

hey there. i haven't looked into rings but a neat setup would be 11s levers run 10s with shimano rear derailleur and cassette and the alternative clamp. but if you're a purist, I'd still probably do 10s. better chance of bumming a wheel off someone at the races if you have an issue.

there are whispers of campy cx products coming, btw.

good luck.
thank you for that sir. great point about the wheel. in that case i guess i'll start looking at record 10 components. i have seen that campy cx photo, it doesn't look real to me. plus i've already bought the chorus 11 ut std. cranks. so can anyone speak to that pic i attached, the 46t VENTO chainring? ta says they're for track, so do they bolt right up with no mods?
