found this on my local craigslist.  I have not went to look at it, but it seems like a solid deal.  Anyone have any experience or thoughts?

I was thinking if the frame is worth it, i might swap in my Ultergra from my road bike.

Matt,

While probably a solid frame, it's not a high-dollar frame. If you're going to hang Ultegra parts on it, I think you can do better. From how he's describing the drivetrain, those Tiagra STI shifters are probably on their last legs (all plastic guts). So if you're just looking for a frame, you should be able to do better if you're willing to spend a little more—especially with all of the "off-season" CX gear that I keep seeing up for sale on CL, eBay and CXMag. :-)

Pass! Look closely at the rear drop out, there is a little black line that is coming up from the drop out.  That looks like a a crack!  I know this for a fact, sadly some of the older redlines have a very weak spot there due to the minimal material and the location of the der hanger.  So far Mine has not cracked and lets face it Im a big dude, but I dont think redline would warranty a frame this "mature".  "shift lever has a little trouble clicking up to the last 3 highest gears"...Because the Frame is probably freakin cracked.

This forum is freaking awesome. You guys rock.

Pass.

Good price but that rear dropout looks very suspicious.  I wouldnt trust it.
