Anyone have experience with the Ridley line?  I know the sizing is a little funky on these.  Looking at a 2011 x-bow but will be ordering it on-line and can't stand over it for sizing.  I'm 5'10" with short legs(840-850 inseam).  Its down to either a 52 or 54.

Ridley frames run large and are not compact (the effective and actual top tube measurements are the same). Since your inseam measures very close to the stand over height of the 54 and the difference between the top tubes of the 52 and 54 is only 1cm I'd go with the 52 and use a longer stem if necessary.

My experience with Ridley sizing is to order 4cm smaller than your road bike.  If you normally ride a 56cm, order a 52cm in the Ridley.  If stand over height is your concern, this will give you adequate room.

Had a buddy just receive his X-bow.  He normally rides a 54cm and I convinced him to order the 50cm X-Bow.  Fits perfectly.

Thanks for the replies.  Yes, stand over height is a concern, being a newbie I would rather not slam the jewels in the event of a crash or stumble.  And I forgot to mention that I currently ride a Bianchi San Jose (cx) in size 55 and it fits me good.
