I would like to put Tubeless Tire installation in the category of 'skill'. I finally got Michelin Mud 2 tires to work tubeless but not without effort. Air was escaping from around one of the valves. This made it impossible to inflate the tire even when I removed the valve core.
With the valve at the bottom what worked was shaking the wheel vertically and allowing the Stan's NoTubes to seal around the valve. When the tire inflated it sounded like popcorn popping as the tire sidewalls would seat into the Stan's Crest rim. I'll give the setup a try this weekend.
Does anyone have experience with Stan's rims and using both Stan's tubeless tires and regular tires? I'm wondering if the former is easier to install...
