Raymond from Premier Cycling Promotions stated in an email to me that they had canceled the 7 race series in New Jersey due to lack of interest. He stated "We needed at least 15 riders to break even". Fifteen riders! Is there really no interest? On a positive note, he stated he might run a one day event in December. I'm curious to hear what area riders think about this. Is it the location: somewhat out of the way in NW New Jersey? The time of day: Thursday evenings? For me, as a noob, the prospect of an hour and a half drive through rush hour was daunting, but there is not much else out there.

Hey Ted, I'm in the same boat as you. Travel time to the event is too long.
Not that I wouldnt go there on a weekend, but M-F is too tough for me.

I think that they should have "training races" on off weekends. During this short season of 'cross, us CX junkies need all we can get.

There are many open weekends where traveling to ohio for an example is not in my book. If they look at all of the schedules, they could see what I mean.
