Hi All,
I'm starting to gather information for a brief history of cyclo-cross courses for the print version of the magazine. The scope of the article will be as broad and deep as space will allow. Does anyone have any recommendations for persons to contact who might provide insight for the article? Ideally, I'd like to talk with course designers from as far back as possible (in Europe and the US). Also, I'd like to include the voices of at least one or two women, and one or two course designers from Asia.
Also, if anyone has any photos of courses from 'back in the day' that you think might look good with the article, I'd love to see them, too!
Feel free to chime in on this discussion or send a message to me directly.
Thanks!
Dan

Not whomever designed the nationals course.
Andrew Albright, perhaps.
That'll get you started down the rabbit hole I am sure.
Steve Tilford and Paul Curley will take you back to the 1980's.
Dorothy Wong seems to put on big hits in California.
That said, I have no idea how long she has been promoting or ever been to a race of hers'.
Super. I'd like to talk with her and get her perspective. She races and promotes races and I'd love to give her more props for doing so.
mpapet & Chris Mayhew, thanks for the recommendations.
Any others?
Brad Ross!
