What do other allergy-sufferers use?
I've been a life-long allergy sufferer and a long time ago swore off Sudafed becasue I didn't like the groggy, foggy feeling. I've pretty much lived with the fact that my sinuses are constantly congested but now that I'm racing consistantly it's driving me nuts. All race long I'm wiping my nose and can't breathe. Claritin and Alavert (Loratadine) don't really help. Benedryl might sort-of help but knocks me for a loop... not what I want to take come race day. I've even gone so far as to put VapoRub in my moustache (which works for about 5 minutes, then it fades out).
So what's next? Zyrcam? Zinc lozenges? I'd hate to hang up racing just as I'm getting into it.
