I successfully ran a 42t single-ring setup in Texas, but here in the high country, the dirt road climbs and the Hawksnest NCCX course look like way too much uphill for my to hack in that gear. So I'm looking for a cheap option that I can use for training rides and basically just that one race. I'm running an older Ritchey standard crank with an octolink BB now. Any suggestions?
