North Carolina Grand Prix, Has Something Happened
Just being curious and hope someone out there can tell me what is going on, but is the North Carolina Grand Prix (november 19th and 20th) not happening as a UCI event this year?
I went last year and it was an awesome race, great venue, and seemed to have a good crowd as well as a good participation numbers. Hope we're not losing it.

Hey Eric, thanks for the reply, I did see that and realized I should have made my post more clear, here's a shot at it:
per http://www.nccyclocross.com the NC Grand Prix is happening this year and there was a press release from NC Cyclocross organizers mentioning the race on cxmagazine this past week. But as of today on prereg.com registration isn't open even though it was supposed to open over a month ago...does anyone know if something happened, they couldn't come up with the funding or what is going on with the race. It really is a great race, venue and weekend in a beautiful part of the country and I hope we don't lose it as a UCI calendar option!
