The Dirt Derby Year 4 - Tuesday nights, Under the Lights in Austin, TX

Every Tuesday night from September 1st to December 15. Short-track MTB and Cyclocross under the lights at the Austin/Del Valle Motocross Park.

Prices are $10 for advanced or intermediate racers, $5 for the beginners and womens races, and your second race is $5. No licenses required.

6:00 PM Registration Opens
6:30 PM "B" Short Track MTB & Cyclocross (25 min)
Intermediate, Masters & Single Speed classes
7:00 PM "C" Beginner, Women Only & Kids (20 min)
7:30 PM "A" Open Short Track / Cyclocross (30 min)
9:00 PM Gates Close

If you havn't been out to the Dirt Derby before, it is a very fun, very social atmosphere for riders at all levels. The events are competitive, but also very friendly for kids and anyone new to racing, and great for spectators. The course has several short and steep climbs and descents, as well as numerous banked turns, but is extremely safe and ideal for beginner cyclists and kids.

For those of you who've raced with us the past three years, we have lots of exciting changes in store for this year -including a EARLIER START TIME FOR OPEN and with the expansion of the Toll Road and completion of the Pleasant Valley bike path extension, its easier than ever to get to.
