I had TRP 8.4 mini V brakes last year. I've just rebuild my CX bike and noticed that the front brake's spring is too weak... Is there any repair kit available?

Or... What cantilever or mini V brake do You suggest? I'm thinking about Shimano CX70, because of easy adjustment and low maintance. Or should i consider Avid?

Thanks!

What is making you say the springs are too weak?  Does your fork have the traditional 3 hole canti mounts at the post?  Have you tried the lowest hole?

Yes, I've tried... but the front brakes are much more weaker than the rear.

Sell them to me. I'll give you beer.

In all seriousness I love my 8.4s. Not sure what would cause a spring to become so much weaker. Have you used the adjustment screws on the bottom of each that are typically used to adjust centering? For example, turn them both in and you will get a great spring tension. Maybe they have backed way out?

We've got all of the TRP parts you need.
